Live shows

Fingerprints is the perfect blend of Jazz and R&B. That's why they are one of the most popular and respected bands in Dallas/Fort Worth.

“We love having your band entertain us every year!! Outstanding performance! Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year from Phoenix I.”

Everyone enjoyed Fingerprints Saturday nights. You guys did entertain in "Grand style".

Thank you for everything! You did a fantastic job and my guest were raving about how much they enjoyed the band. If I have an event in the future, Fingerprints is definitely my first choice! Thanks you for helping to make my 50th Birthday Party such a memorable event!!!

All the Best,
Norma

I personally enjoyed every note Fingerprints played.  Thank you for being at our event, Fingerprints was such a nice touch to our social event.

It Was a Smooth Groove Friday at MCL Grand Theater A mellow but enthusiastic crowd grooved the night away Friday at the Texas Smooth Groove concert at the MCL Grand Theater in old town Lewisville. The three hour jazz and R&B performance featured multiple talented artists and songwriters who drew repeated standing ovations from the crowd. Favorites from artists such as Al Green and Steely Dan drew an enthusiastic response, as did many of the original songs performed by the artists. Opening the show was Fingerprints, a Dallas-based band comprised of members who have been making music together for years, having gotten their start at University of North Texas in 1986. Since then, under the musical and business leadership of bassist Frederick Nichelson, the band has developed a strong reputation and following that were in full evidence at Friday’s show. The true standout musically was Claud Hardrick on sax, who displayed amazing lung capacity as well as flexibility on the instrument. In the second half of the show, Tom Braxton, a natural performance artist, won the crowd over with his musical talents on both the alto and soprano sax, in addition to his humorous stories about his family life in nearby Highland Village. Mark Harper’s guitar performances showed tremendous range and emotion and were another key factor in the strength of show. The MCL Grand, which opened in January of this year, was a perfect venue, with vivid colored light changes and the strong acoustical features of the performance hall. Art center manager Jim Wear said the center recently booked its 400th performance…which hopefully means we can look forward to many more shows of the caliber of Friday’s Smooth Groove concert.

The Band did a wonderful job in Orlando! Guests thought they were fantastic and we would use them again in a heartbeat.
Our fundraising event, A Night in Nappa, was perfected by the awesome sounds of Fingerprints. You put the people in the right mood to eat, drink, tap their toes and spend money! We can't wait for our next event that brings you back!
I don't believe I ever officially praised the excellent performance of your band during the Lake Cities Education Foundation Gala. Fingerprints was excellent and we had countless compliments on their performance. Everyone was pleased and they now come very highly recommended by everyone with our group.
